Key Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering student independence, function, and participation within the educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students onsite, supporting functional goals and IEP requirements
  • Evaluate students’ needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress consistently
  • Collaborate with educational staff and support teams to integrate therapy strategies across settings
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development and review
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers for accommodation and adaptation recommendations
