Occupational Therapist School Setting in Olympia, WA

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing dedicated occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity covers the 26-27 academic year, running from August 31 to June 17, with a flexible 30-hour per week schedule. You'll work across two unique school settings: one serving a K-12 homeschool/Montessori blend, and another elementary campus, both located near beautiful Olympia, WA.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Occupational Therapist with a valid state license
• Prior experience working in school-based settings
• Comfortable managing a diverse K-12 caseload, including elementary
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to craft and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential
• Available for in-person services throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate OT interventions
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Be proactive in supporting students’ independence and participation in school activities
