This position is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 31 and ending June 17, offering 30 hours per week as a .8 FTE. You'll make a meaningful impact serving two dynamic schools: an elementary school and a K-12 site catering to home school and Montessori students. This is a fully in-person role designed for a dedicated professional eager to work closely with diverse learners.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred
- Comfortable working across elementary and K-12 settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for students from varied backgrounds, including home school and Montessori
- Commitment to in-person support and instructional continuity
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct OT services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to promote student success
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with IEP goals and state requirements
- Support skill development in areas such as fine motor control, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
