Occupational Therapist School Setting in Olympia, WA

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure (or eligibility) for the state
• Previous experience working with children or within school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Deliver targeted interventions for fine/gross motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families to facilitate student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for educational teams
