Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state OT license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Successful completion of fieldwork specific to pediatrics or school settings preferred
- Experience with IEP documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in group and individual settings
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assess students’ functional abilities and create targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote students’ success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reporting on progress and adapting plans when necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Provide training and guidance to staff and families to support students’ ongoing development
