An exciting contract opportunity is available in the Orland Park, IL area for a dedicated OT seeking an impactful, in-person role within school settings. This full-time position spans from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, offering 35 hours per week of engagement with students ages 3 to 21, depending on placement.

Responsibilities include developing and administering effective, evidence-based interventions to help students achieve their highest level of independence within the educational environment. You’ll collaborate with educators while contributing to professional development initiatives and ensuring services are cost-efficient, innovative, and aligned with best practices for learners with disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Illinois is required
  • Previous experience with school-aged children or adolescents (ages 3-21 preferred)
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based OT programming, adapting interventions across diverse abilities
  • Ability to work exclusively in-person (no remote options)
  • Skilled communicator; collaborates effectively with educators, families, and school staff
  • Compassion and commitment to supporting children with exceptional needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs, establish goals, and implement individualized OT programs
  • Deliver services in alignment with IEPs and collaborate on student progress
  • Consult with teachers on classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Contribute to professional development and support educational teams
  • Document session data, progress, and maintain compliance with regulations
