Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the educational environment
• Design and implement personalized occupational therapy interventions to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies that foster student progress
• Document student progress and prepare reports for meetings and compliance purposes
• Provide consultation to staff to promote accessibility and participation in classroom activities
