Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license (or eligibility for licensure) for the state of Maine
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and school schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring OT services
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with IEPs and school requirements
  • Communicate recommendations and strategies with parents and educators
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive life skills
