This exciting opportunity is a full-time contract position serving the school community throughout the full academic year, with a primary focus in Oroville and occasional travel to nearby areas as needed. Collaboration and hands-on care are at the heart of this in-person role, as you partner with educators and families to deliver meaningful OT services and help students achieve their highest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Recent experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule across multiple school sites
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites (mileage reimbursement provided)
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized IEP-based treatment plans
- Deliver direct OT interventions in accordance with students’ goals and needs
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support
