Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an OT in the state
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other professionals
• Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ needs, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans to support academic and functional success
• Deliver direct OT services according to IEPs, using evidence-based approaches tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each child
• Document progress, maintain compliance with all legal and school requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families about strategies to help students succeed in the classroom and beyond
• Support in creating an inclusive and accessible school environment
