Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an OT in the state
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans to support academic and functional success
- Deliver direct OT services according to IEPs, using evidence-based approaches tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each child
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all legal and school requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate staff and families about strategies to help students succeed in the classroom and beyond
- Support in creating an inclusive and accessible school environment
