Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid OT licensure in the state
  • Experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in developing and carrying out IEPs
  • Adaptability, creativity, and patience in supporting students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ unique strengths and challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support learning goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services within the educational environment
  • Educate and advise staff on adaptive strategies and classroom modifications
