Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatrics strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP process and ability to document progress toward goals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse learning and physical needs
  • Familiar with current best practices in school OT services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students, targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student progress
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings; maintain detailed, compliant documentation
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services in both individual and group settings
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school activities
  • Utilize a variety of therapy tools and evidence-based strategies
