Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with families, staff, and the existing OT
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate OT services for birth-to-three students
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Document assessments, progress, and therapy sessions in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to foster positive outcomes for each child
  • Support families and caregivers with strategies and recommendations to maximize daily functioning
