Step into a dynamic school-based contract role as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with the possibility for extension. Required qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings
- Comfort traveling to multiple school sites
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of age groups and caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- SIRAS experience is a plus, but not required
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, adjusting interventions as needed
- Provide timely and accurate documentation for all cases and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for students’ occupational needs
