Occupational Therapist School Setting in Oxnard, CA

Step into a dynamic school-based contract role as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers you the chance to make a real difference across multiple school sites, working alongside a supportive and collaborative team. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with the possibility for extension. Required qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for school-based practice
• Previous experience working with children in educational settings
• Comfort traveling to multiple school sites
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of age groups and caseloads
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• SIRAS experience is a plus, but not required

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, adjusting interventions as needed
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for all cases and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for students’ occupational needs
