Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist through the end of the academic year. Your primary focus will be serving multiple elementary campuses, including those with specialized autism programs. You'll collaborate with passionate educators and allied professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, ensuring each student has the tools they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, adaptive equipment, and sensory integration
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans for students with diverse needs
  • Implement therapy sessions for students individually and in groups
  • Support autism programs by adapting strategies to sensory and communication requirements
  • Document student progress, update reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to provide activity modifications and classroom accommodations
  • Serve as a resource to families, offering guidance and tools for home use
  • Travel among assigned campuses as needed
