Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state license to practice occupational therapy
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to assess and adapt interventions according to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for support
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate strategies into classroom routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
  • Provide ongoing documentation of student progress and adapt therapy goals as necessary
  • Serve as a resource for families and school staff, offering insights and training to support student growth
