What We're Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Alabama
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or other healthcare OT settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, documentation, and individualized treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for empowering children and supporting inclusive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs
- Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, supporting fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom and home
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and coordinate with the educational team regarding student goals and progress
