Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license for California
- Strong background working in school-based OT settings
- Demonstrated expertise with pediatric caseloads and IEP processes
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 40 or more students
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support diverse needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capable of working independently while providing onsite services (no VOCO/remote options)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, create and implement treatment plans, and document progress
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed to meet student needs
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
- Consult with teachers and school staff to develop accommodations and classroom strategies
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
