School Occupational Therapist - Pacoima, California

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license for California
• Strong background working in school-based OT settings
• Demonstrated expertise with pediatric caseloads and IEP processes
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 40 or more students
• Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support diverse needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working independently while providing onsite services (no VOCO/remote options)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, create and implement treatment plans, and document progress
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed to meet student needs
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
• Consult with teachers and school staff to develop accommodations and classroom strategies
• Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
