Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant on a part-time, contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work approximately 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments while making a difference in students’ day-to-day learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess students’ needs and collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to develop and implement targeted interventions.
  • Document progress and maintain records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the educational planning process for students.
  • Adapt therapy techniques and interventions to fit each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
  • Travel to various school sites as needed within the assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, especially with K-12 populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, faculty, and families.
  • Ability to manage a flexible, part-time schedule.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between sites if necessary.
