Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California OT license and certification
- Successful experience or specialized training in school-based OT
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to document effectively
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with K-12th grade students across a range of needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess students using standardized and functional assessment tools to identify OT needs
- Develop individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to support students’ participation and independence
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide necessary documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Educate teachers and staff on strategies, adaptations, and support for student success
