Seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license/registration for California
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload efficiently
- Passion for promoting independence and success in the school environment
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering occupational therapy interventions, both individually and in groups
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Documenting student progress as required by school and district guidelines
- Contributing insights during IEP meetings and consultations
- Supporting faculty by providing training on strategies for classroom success
