What We’re Looking For:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
- Previous experience working as an OT in a K-12 school setting, with an understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong communication abilities for collaboration with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Skilled at conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, and documenting progress.
- Adaptable and resourceful with a sincere commitment to supporting students of diverse abilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the IEP process, helping to shape individualized goals.
- Develop and implement interventions that foster fine motor, sensory, coordination, and daily living skills.
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into the classroom environment.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation to support student progress and compliance.
- Engage in communication with families, offering resources and strategies for continued success at home.
