Occupational Therapist School Setting - Palo Alto, CA

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Previous experience working as an OT in a K-12 school setting, with an understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Skilled at conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, and documenting progress.
• Adaptable and resourceful with a sincere commitment to supporting students of diverse abilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the IEP process, helping to shape individualized goals.
• Develop and implement interventions that foster fine motor, sensory, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into the classroom environment.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation to support student progress and compliance.
• Engage in communication with families, offering resources and strategies for continued success at home.
