Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with IEP requirements
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Consult and work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and families
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom strategies
- Advocate for students’ independence and participation in school activities
