This contract role is based near Parma, MI, with a focus on providing high-quality services to students during a maternity leave coverage, with a potential extension. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week from November 5th, 2026, through February 15th, 2027. While in-person participation is the preference, VOCO (virtual) candidates will also be considered, providing flexibility for qualified professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (must present proof upon application)
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Comfortable working both onsite and in VOCO (virtual) environments
- Deep understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and educational access
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
- Reliable organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective OT services to a diverse student population
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on occupational therapy needs
- Flexibly adapt between in-person and virtual service delivery as required
