Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for empowering students to reach their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and document progress in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with a COTA and other educational professionals to maximize student support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team discussions, and staff training as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires confidence and independence
- Manage a caseload of students across various grade levels during a consistent 35-hour workweek
