Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
  • Solid grasp of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for empowering students to reach their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a diverse student population
  • Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and document progress in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with a COTA and other educational professionals to maximize student support
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team discussions, and staff training as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires confidence and independence
  • Manage a caseload of students across various grade levels during a consistent 35-hour workweek
