Occupational Therapist School Setting - Paterson, NJ

What We’re Looking For:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working within school settings or pediatric populations
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
• Organized, flexible, and proactive approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation needs
• Develop, document, and monitor treatment plans and progress toward goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
• Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive devices
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth
