Occupational Therapist School Setting - Paterson, NJ

This contract opportunity allows for either part-time or full-time scheduling, offering flexibility to meet your preferences—bring your availability, and your hours can be accommodated. The primary need is providing OT services to children ages 9-10, requiring approximately 2-4 hours per week, including some in-home service visits.

There is also an additional, temporary opportunity available: From Thursday, October 8th through Wednesday, November 25th, you can cover a leave position at a preschool site, delivering direct therapy and conducting evaluations for younger learners. This role runs Monday through Friday during school hours, from 8:35 a.m. until 3:23 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and effective occupational therapy services tailored to school-aged children’s needs
• Offer in-home OT support to foster progress in everyday environments
• Complete timely, comprehensive evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• For the leave position: deliver direct OT services and perform assessments at the preschool location

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current licensure and credentials to practice Occupational Therapy
• Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
