Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current California OT license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal-setting for students
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for varied student needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students to identify strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to promote optimal student participation
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive, inclusive environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input to guide educational planning
  • Support students’ functional independence in the classroom, playground, and other school settings
