Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist | Patton, California

Step into an exciting opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students in achieving greater independence and success throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, contract position working with a diverse caseload of 50-55 students, offering a unique chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

Your clinical expertise and passion will help students with various needs overcome barriers to learning and participation. Working within a collaborative educational team, you'll have the resources and flexibility to tailor therapeutic strategies and interventions for students at multiple grade levels.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and appropriate state certification
• Experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
• Ability to manage a diverse, mixed caseload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Passion for student advocacy and developmental progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional skills and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment goals and intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, for students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Offer training and support for staff and caregivers regarding OT interventions and equipment
