This full-time contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact within a school-based environment near Patton, CA. You’ll work with a mixed caseload of approximately 50-55 students, utilizing your expertise to support their development and educational success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current OT certification and state licensure required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other clinicians
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a mixed caseload of students
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support classroom modifications and student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and recommended supports
