Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with students on the autism spectrum highly desired
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a variety of educational, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Familiarity with student documentation and IEP processes preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite occupational therapy services to PreK and high school students as identified
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address social, emotional, behavioral, and academic goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in student support meetings and provide recommendations or strategies as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment for all students

This role features a Monday through Thursday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., totaling 22 hours per week, making it an outstanding fit for professionals seeking a balanced summer contract.
