Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license and Alabama-specific certification required (documentation must be provided).
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative OT team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Strong commitment to enhancing student wellbeing and educational outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students based on IEPs and individualized needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy goals, and maintain accurate records.
- Work proactively with teachers, support staff, and family members for student progress and inclusion.
- Liaise with a network of OTs for professional support and case consistency district-wide.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies.
