You'll focus solely on occupational therapy services without additional non-therapy duties, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best. Both direct and indirect services are considered part of your hours, providing variety in your day-to-day routine. Travel therapists may qualify for additional stipends, further enhancing the flexibility and value of this role.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Committed to supporting students' functional independence and academic success
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services (assessment, intervention, consultation) to students as outlined in individual education plans
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to develop effective strategies
- Complete documentation of services, progress notes, and required paperwork in a timely manner
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed within scheduled hours
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines
