Occupational Therapist School Setting - Peoria, AZ

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in school settings
• Valid OT license or eligibility to obtain in Arizona
• Strong understanding of developmental, sensory, and motor needs of K-12 students
• Comfort delivering both direct and indirect therapy services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions, as well as consultative support for staff
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, focusing on student progress and strategies for success

This position offers guaranteed hours, compensation for both direct and indirect services, and the convenience of no bus duty, parent pickup, or similar district responsibilities outside of your contracted hours. Those joining as travel therapists may be eligible for stipends, adding to the flexibility and benefits of this role.
