In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with district staff to develop and implement IEPs, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. Work across three locations, with a home base provided for convenience and consistency. You’ll also have the opportunity to support and assist home visitors, particularly when working with children who have individualized service or education plans (ISSP/IEP).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children ages birth to five in both center-based and home-based settings
• Participating as a valued member of multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs for eligible students
• Providing expert support to parents, empowering them in their crucial caregiving roles
• Offering guidance and assistance to home visitors working with children needing OT intervention
• Maintaining organized and accurate documentation for service tracking and compliance

The ideal candidate brings:

• A valid Occupational Therapist licensure for school-based practice
• Experience or genuine interest in early childhood and special education
• Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start philosophy and processes
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, especially in working with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to travel between program sites as needed
