As a travel OT supporting a birth-to-five program, including Head Start and Early Head Start, you’ll collaborate with district teams on IEPs and provide assistance at multiple locations (three sites with a designated home base). You’ll make a genuine difference by supporting parents and home visitors, helping children reach developmental goals, and partnering closely to tailor services to the needs of families and young learners.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for Illinois (or eligibility)
• Experience with early intervention, birth-5, or Head Start/Early Head Start preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Adaptability for working across multiple locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Collaborate on IEP development and implementation with district personnel
• Support and assist home visitors and parents (ISS/IEP clients)
• Travel between assigned sites, maintaining a home base location
• Foster positive, supportive relationships with families and staff
