Make a meaningful impact by supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade as a contract Occupational Therapist. In this dynamic role, you’ll deliver vital OT services across multiple school sites, providing compassionate care and helping students achieve their fullest potential. Your work will reach a varied caseload of approximately 55 students, ensuring inclusion and success through direct intervention, collaboration, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The position runs from August 6, 2026, through February 12, 2027, with potential for extension through the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Demonstrated experience working within school settings
  • Familiarity with participating in and leading IEP meetings
  • Preferred experience working with SEIS (Special Education Information System)
  • Proficient with technology, including documentation and digital platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
  • Travel to multiple nearby school sites to provide onsite supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Contribute to IEP meetings with professional insight and recommendations
  • Accurately maintain and submit documentation, service logs, and progress updates
  • Support students’ functional skills, access, and participation in school activities
