Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in California (or eligibility)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Familiarity with IEP process and development of age-appropriate goals
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to a diverse range of needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor IEPs
- Provide consultation and training to teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies and accommodations
- Track progress, complete documentation, and participate in meetings to review outcomes
- Serve as an active advocate for student inclusion and participation in school activities
