What we're seeking:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Registration as an OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered)
  • Recent experience delivering OT services in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of current OT best practices for children and adolescents
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, goal development, and progress monitoring
  • Commitment to respecting the diversity and unique needs of every student

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance students’ participation and access to curriculum
  • Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with state and district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear written and verbal reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to carry over strategies into classrooms and homes
  • Deliver both direct and consultative OT services
  • Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and timelines
