Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of academic-based OT interventions and IEP processes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to an elementary caseload, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth and engagement
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
- Offer consultation and strategies to classroom staff to support student participation
