Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of academic-based OT interventions and IEP processes
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to an elementary caseload, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth and engagement
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
  • Offer consultation and strategies to classroom staff to support student participation
