School Occupational Therapist | Peterborough, New Hampshire

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a Charter School student, delivering both direct and collaborative interventions. Enjoy a flexible schedule that includes the possibility to serve a student in the morning before starting your elementary school caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and current Occupational Therapist certification in New Hampshire (NH).
• Background or experience working with school-aged children in educational or healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy strategies within school environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, teachers, and families.
• Previous experience with direct (pull-out) and indirect (push-in) service delivery is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide OT services for an elementary caseload, developing and implementing individualized plans to support student participation and skill development.
• Conduct 2x/week pull-out OT sessions for 30 minutes and 1x/week push-in session for 30 minutes with a charter school student; morning sessions are available and can coordinate with the rest of your schedule.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote optimal learning environments and generalize OT strategies in classrooms.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with educational guidelines.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
