Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado SLP license and ASHA certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy
  • Proficiency in teletherapy, collaborating virtually with students and staff
  • Strong skills in fine and gross motor interventions
  • Familiarity supporting and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both onsite and remotely, tailored to students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
  • Document assessments, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
  • Support staff and families with resources to continue progress outside of therapy sessions
