Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP license and ASHA certification required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy
- Proficiency in teletherapy, collaborating virtually with students and staff
- Strong skills in fine and gross motor interventions
- Familiarity supporting and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, both onsite and remotely, tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Document assessments, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
- Support staff and families with resources to continue progress outside of therapy sessions
