Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings
- Previous work with low incidence populations, including students with autism, multiple disabilities, and significant support needs
- Strong organizational skills—able to balance therapy, collaboration, and thorough documentation for a diverse caseload
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Excellent communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored for students in grades K–age 22, focusing on enhancing participation and functional skills
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation
