School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Contract Position

We are seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join a supportive school district in the Phoenix area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for experienced school-based therapists who are passionate about helping students succeed.

Position Details

• Start Date: August 3, 2026

• End Date: May 20, 2027

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Setting: Onsite only

• School Year: Full 2026–2027 school year

• Caseload: School assignments and student caseloads will be determined prior to the start of the school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and direct services to students.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student success.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

• Support students in developing the skills needed to participate successfully in the educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Active or eligible Arizona Occupational Therapist license.

• Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience is required.

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are not being considered for this position.
