Occupational Therapist School Setting in Pine Mountain, GA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia
• Previous experience serving K-12 students is beneficial
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments
• Comfortable working in person in a school setting (in-person interaction is preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their academic access and participation
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Assess, plan, and document student progress according to school standards
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within classroom environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insight for student program development
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations
• Communicate progress and recommendations effectively with families and educators
