Make a meaningful impact in local education by supporting students as an Occupational Therapist on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week, working across two elementary school settings. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to a diverse range of student needs
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals and educational plans
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment strategies
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Provide education and consultation for staff and families regarding therapy best practices
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and necessary reports in compliance with school requirements
