Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Background in providing OT services within school environments
• Knowledge of IEP processes, assessments, and appropriate interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct student assessments to identify OT needs and set relevant goals
• Collaborate closely with other educators, therapists, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress updates, and parent conferences
• Maintain clear and accurate records, complying with school and legal requirements
• Provide strategies and recommendations to classroom teams to support students’ functional participation
