School Occupational Therapist | Pittsburg, California

What we're looking for:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans individualized to student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support teams
• Skill in conducting assessments and providing thorough, clear documentation
• Flexibility, positivity, and a commitment to student growth and advocacy

Your important responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Assess students to determine their strengths, challenges, and required supports using appropriate tools
• Collaborate closely with special educators, general teachers, and families for holistic care
• Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans to support student success
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to optimize student participation in school activities
