Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ capabilities and needs, recommending and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational and functional goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation of interventions and progress
- Offer recommendations and strategies for classroom modifications or adaptive equipment when needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
