Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current California state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in school-based occupational therapy
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
  • Evaluate student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and collaborate on goal development
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and advocating for appropriate supports
  • Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, counselors, and administrators
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions that promote functional performance in the school environment
