Key Qualifications:

• Current New York State Occupational Therapy license required
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation within a school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassionate approach to working with children of varying abilities, backgrounds, and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to K-5 students in accordance with established IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and special education teams to tailor interventions and strategies
• Conduct evaluations and write required documentation, including progress reports
• Support classroom staff with OT-centered adaptations and recommendations
• Assist in the development and review of IEPs and participate in team meetings as needed
