School Occupational Therapist | Pittsford, New York

We're seeking a dedicated occupational therapist ready to work on-site in a school-based contract role, serving youth in a vibrant educational community near Pittsford, NY. What you'll bring:

• Valid state-issued Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in educational, healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of OT interventions in schools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage students, teachers, and families
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices

Key responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group OT services to students as identified in IEPs and 504 plans
• Assess students’ functional and developmental skills and craft individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams to troubleshoot barriers and celebrate student growth
• Document all evaluations, sessions, and consultations in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based trainings
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff to facilitate inclusive classrooms

Compensation for this role starts at $47 per hour and is determined based on your experience and specialty area. Candidates on travel assignments may also qualify for housing and meal stipends.
