What we’re looking for:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Direct experience or enthusiasm for working in schools, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Comfort adapting to both resource and self-contained classroom environments
- Proactive communicator, open to collaboration and teamwork
- Commitment to ongoing learning and best practices in school-based therapy
Your role will include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to elementary students with diverse needs
- Collaborating during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions to share best practices
- Utilizing well-stocked equipment, testing materials, and real-time digital connection with peers
- Participating in a supportive “Buddy Program” designed for thorough orientation and smooth transition
- Engaging in regular check-ins and annual performance reviews to foster professional growth
- Taking an active part in process improvement initiatives to shape effective service delivery
