Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an in-person provider, supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Plainfield, IL. This role offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team, helping students reach their full potential through high-quality occupational therapy services.
This position runs from now through May 28th, 2027, at 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The daily schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, accommodating a caseload of approximately 30 students to start the year, with additional students added as they are evaluated into the program.
Qualifications:
- Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapy Licensure is required
- Experience in a school-based Occupational Therapy setting preferred
- Familiarity with evaluating and planning interventions for children with diverse needs
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary early childhood diagnostic team
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Work jointly with the early childhood diagnostic team to identify student needs and ensure appropriate services
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in a school environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with state and district regulations
- Engage in ongoing communication with educators, families, and support staff regarding student goals and progress
