With a weekly full-time schedule of 37.5-40 hours, you’ll work closely with a diverse team to meet the varied needs of the student population. Caseload details will be determined upon assignment, prioritizing your input and comfort level.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and therapy implementation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing changing caseloads and environments
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy best practices is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct Occupational Therapy services to help students achieve academic and functional goals
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers
  • Maintain detailed progress notes and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development at school and home
  • Adjust therapy approaches based on ongoing student evaluation
