Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (Illinois credentials preferred)
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students, ideally within a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support students in both resource and self-contained environments
  • Adaptability and eagerness to engage in ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as part of IEP implementation for students in varied learning settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, fellow therapists, and staff during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
  • Utilize equipment and standardized testing materials for comprehensive student evaluations
  • Participate actively in orientation and regular 1:1 and team meetings with supervisors and leaders
  • Engage in annual performance reviews and process improvement initiatives to uphold best practices
  • Stay connected with peers across the region through an interactive intranet platform
